About Me

An endlessly curious researcher crafting compelling stories about the human experience.

I began as a researcher in the field of anthropology where I used participatory research frameworks to co-design research programs with stakeholders who have historically been excluded from the research process. Constant collaboration required me to cultivate stakeholder trust, facilitate difficult conversations, and maintain a flexible research program. An iterative approach to research design ensured that my work met the real needs of my stakeholders.

As a UX researcher, I continue to use my collaboration and facilitation skills to develop research programs that shed light on the user experience. I enjoy diving into users’ stories to identify the patterns in seemingly messy or ambiguous data. I am adept at qualitative methods including interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiry as well as basic quantitative methods. I find that pairing quantitative data with the personal stories that emerge through qualitative methods allows me to communicate the big picture while building empathy for users’ lived experiences.
